Friday Night Class Visit

It’s Aloha Friday, no work ’til Monday….
I guess that song doesn’t fit the program this week!

I just wanted to let you all know that I am coming to class tomorrow night. I am excited about seeing your presentations and may even want a copy of your class cookbook!

I will be bringing a camera so please send me an email and let me know if you have any objections to being photographed.

See you all tomorrow night at 6 PM in OSC 204!

Aloha Weekend Degree Ohana!

It is time to register for another quarter already!  Some of you are half-way through your first year, some of you are just getting started, and there are even a few of you who are almost completely finished with your AA Degree!  That is what makes this particular Weekend Degree Ohana so exciting.  You are all so unique: different academic backgrounds, different stages of your lives, different courses needed to complete your degrees.  Not exactly the Cohort Model that Clark College had envisioned, but something so much more exciting.

We are adding new students everyday with applications starting to roll in for next year.  We have all the courses and instructors lined up for our two year schedule.  Click here to view class schedule. There will be five or six Weekend Degree Courses offered each quarter beginning Fall 2010.  You can look at this as a First Year Track and a Second Year Track.  We anticipate some overlapping or blending of the two groups of students, and there will be some of you who choose to veer off of either track and pick up courses that better suit your academic needs and personal interests.  And, as we used to say in Hawaii, it’s all good!  We are here to support you and do all that we can to help you achieve your goal of earning an Associate’s Degree.

Best of luck in these final weeks of the quarter and enjoy your upcoming spring vacation!

Aloha, Cynthia
