Smart Penguin is run by the Clark College eLearning Systems Administrator to address common user issues with Moodle and increase student success with the online component of their courses. Posts address Moodle support FAQs, provide helpful usage tips, and share new developments in the online classroom. Discussion is encouraged to benefit the maximum number of users in the ever-widening diversity of technical environments. Smart Penguin also includes a Twitter feed for Moodle and online student information alerts and when all else fails, a Tech Ticket support system. It is believed that improved communication between users and eLearning support staff, such as the Systems Administrator and Support Specialists, will enhance learning with less technical interference while developing the computer skills of Clark College students, better preparing them for a future in the digital age.
